On Saturday we’re backing wins for Everton, Stoke, Leicester, Sunderland and Derby at 29/1 with Coral who will refund your stake if one selection lets you down. T&Cs apply.

Everton to beat Swansea at home:

The Toffees suffered a humbling experience losing 5-0 to a rampant Chelsea but Koeman will have re-focused minds and overall their season is going well. The same cannot be said of Swansea who looked half-hearted against Man Utd, have already changed manager, and could end the weekend rock bottom.

Stoke to beat Bournemouth at home:

The Potters have bounced back strongly from another poor start to a campaign and are now unbeaten in six. The return of Arnautovic and Shaqiri only strengthens Hughes’s hand. The Britannia Stadium isn’t the best venue for a Bournemouth side to come and play and they remain winless on the road.

Leicester to win at Watford:

This looks like the gamble of the picks and we have the price (17/10) to reflect that risk. Watford are enjoying a surprisingly lofty position (8th) but they were walloped 6-1 at Liverpool last time out. The Foxes are still inconsistent but four of their last five results have been decent and the champions can show what they’re made of here.

Sunderland to beat Hull at home:

Sure Hull have twice as many points as their hosts but I wasn’t convinced by their victory at Southampton. They scored with their only 2 shots on target and it bore the hallmarks of a freak result after 6 straight defeats. Sunderland’s heroic 10-man win at Bournemouth looked more like a turning point and the Mackems can record back-to-back successes with Defoe on fire.

Derby to beat Rotherham at home:

The Rams are finally picking up under Steve McClaren after consecutive victories over Wednesday and Wolves and the natives have every right to expect 9 points from 9 with Rotherham coming to town. The Millers look outclassed in the Championship in 2016-17, already 8 points from safety following 8 defeats and a draw in their last 9 outings.
