Reds Eye Goal Record

If they find the net at Upton Park, Liverpool will have scored in 17 consecutive away matches - a club top-flight record.

The last week has just furthered the impression that Liverpool are currently a better proposition to back away from home. An Anfield defeat to Villa followed by another slog on Merseyside against Ludogorets showed that a side without Suarez, and currently Sturridge, sometimes struggles to break down a parked bus.

But it’s a different story for the Reds on their travels having scored 33 times in their last 11 away games. They were dominant at White Hart Lane recently, admittedly that was with Sturridge, but Balotelli has opened his account now and can offer a serious threat alongside the ever-improving Sterling.

West Ham have shown more attacking intent this season as Sam Allardyce tries to appease the fans and his board. This has resulted in more shots and a few more goals, but no clean sheets down the other end.

Put it all together and the best bet here looks like Liverpool to win, but with both teams to score at best odds of 5/2 with WilliamHill.
