Reds Bid To Keep Season Alive

With dreams of the top four fading fast, Liverpool will be more determined than ever to land the FA Cup.

Many Liverpool fans will be dreading tonight’s FA Cup replay at Ewood Park after their team capitulated 4-1 to Arsenal at the weekend. But as Blackburn boss Gary Bowyer pointed out, this was the team being heralded as the best in the top flight only two matches ago.

The good news for the Merseysiders is that Rovers have recently evolved into a side who play their best stuff on the road. They claimed a credible 0-0 draw at Anfield and they have won their last three away games in the Championship.

But they are struggling a bit in front of their own fans. Since thrashing Stoke in the last round of the cup, Blackburn have only won once at home (L3 D1). Liverpool have won three FA Cup ties 2-1 away from Anfield already this season and they look a good bet at 13/5 (Ladbrokes) to win by one goal again here.
