Real Madrid v Juventus Tip

Juventus are probably under-rated at best odds of 21/4 (BetVictor) to win in the Bernabeu but you would still have to be really brave to bet against mighty Madrid.

Instead, what looks like a better bet is over 3.5 goals in the match at 6/4 with WilliamHill. The reasons to expect this encounter to be high-scoring are everywhere you look. Real have scored the most goals (10) and had 41 attempts, but Juventus are the only outfit to have had more shots in the opening two Gameweeks (53).

Carlo Ancelotti’s charges have found the target in 27 Champions League matches in a row while Antonio Conte’s men have registered in 21 consecutive Serie A fixtures. The most recent of those was on Sunday when Juve surrendered four goals in the last 14 minutes to lose 4-2 to Fiorentina.

That sort of capitulation won’t help the confidence of the Italians’ defence as it heads to Madrid, but equally they have attacking players who always expect to cause havoc themselves.

I’m not sure how it will all pan out, but goals seem highly probable from a few different sources.
