PSG should have won the first leg and Lauren Blanc was able to field the reserves in the Ligue 1 fixture on Saturday.
Last week we were right to oppose PSG but couldn’t quite land the bet; seven days on and the market has switched around.
PSG are still favourites to win the game but 29/20 (Ladbrokes) is on the large side considering what we saw in Paris.
PSG dominated possession (65% v 35%), outshot Man City 16-11 and won the battle of expected goals. We haven’t even thrown a missed penalty into the equation.

Man City have home advantage for the second leg but that is mitigated by their build up to the game. City had to battle hard to beat West Brom on Saturday, whilst PSG enjoyed a stroll against Guingamp with the league already wrapped up.
Lauren Blanc had the luxury of fielding a second XI on Saturday and that could prove a massive advantage with only a 6-day turnaround between the first and second legs.
