West Ham v Everton Preview

West Ham v Everton Preview

For all the praise heaped on Everton they have only won four games away from home and they weren’t big scalps.

Everton have been garnering plenty of plaudits in recent weeks but I’m afraid to say I still have them pegged as the eighth best team in the league on expected goal difference, below Southampton.

Romelu Lukaku is a class act and has rightly taken the limelight but there are still issues with Everton particularly in defence and in goal. They have managed just four clean sheets away from home and have only won four games on their travels. Those victories came against West Brom, Sunderland, Leicester (when struggling) and Crystal Palace (likewise) so the form isn’t exactly strong.

West Ham have improved at the London Stadium as the season has progressed and they are far too big at 11/8 to win in the draw no bet market.
