West End Boys

Fulham rank 4th for shots on goal compared to Brighton in 19th. Neither side looks great at the back so expect goals with perhaps the visitors recording back-to-back league victories.

A team fast emerging as one to watch this season in terms of entertainment are Fulham and they are excellent value at best odds of 11/2 with Betfred to win at Brighton with both teams to score.

The Cottagers got themselves off the mark in style last weekend by defeating Burnley 4-2 and there will surely be more matches like that to come.

The west London outfit are actually ranking 4th for shots on goal in the Premier League so far (16.7 per match) and 3rd for attempts on target (7 per match). Slavisa Jokanovic has them playing an exciting brand of football and the new signings are gelling quickly.

The flip side is that they have conceded 7 times in 3 top flight fixtures and Brighton are a menace at home. But the Seagulls have actually conceded 16.7 shots per game already, even worse than Fulham (16.3) so there is the promise of action here at both ends.

However, Hughton’s boys rank 19th for attacking attempts (6 shots per match) which puts them light years behind their next visitors. They’ve only had an average of 1.7 efforts on target per game.

Even allowing for tough opponents faced, it’s the away side who possess the attacking might and they can surprise the bookies on Saturday.
