Welsh Rare Split

Swansea have only drawn one of their last eight games, losing six, but there were signs of the corner being turned at Manchester City.

It’s bizarre that Swansea are approaching evens money (11/10) to win on Sunday when they start the day in the bottom three and face opponents with an excellent away record (W4 D2 L2).

Yes the Swans were much improved at the Etihad last weekend, but they still lost, and it remains to be seen if they have the confidence to take three points after another setback.

More likely they will have to settle for a draw at 5/2  which would still stop the rot while they await the arrival of a new permanent manager.

That would make it five draws in six outings for West Ham who are struggling for goals in the absence of Dimitri Payet and Manuel Lanzini.

A high score seems unlikely in the circumstances but equally the hosts haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last 11 matches across all competitions.

The Hammers have been defending better of late but the stats suggest they are mid-table in this respect generally. 1-1 is therefore the best play at 6/1 with WilliamHill.
