Wolves score 4 times fewer 1st half goals than Spurs, but concede fewer 2nd half goals than their hosts and often finish games strongly.
When these sides met at Molineux back in early November, Tottenham raced into a 3-0 lead only to be pegged back to 3-2 after a Wolves late-show. The Londoners held on but it represented a wider trend.
Spurs have conceded 33% of their Premier League goals this season after the 75th minute. Conversely, Wolves have scored 40% of their goals after the 75th minute.
Pochettino’s squad are flying, but also must be tiring, so backing Wolves to win the second half at best odds of 6/1 with Bet365 makes some sense.
It may not be enough for any points if Spurs continue to fly out of the blocks, but this trend and logic gives us an inventive option to potentially win some money.
