Villains Too Crafty For Saints
Southampton have imploded while Villa are going from strength to strength.
It’s been commented on as something of a joke, but you genuinely have to wonder how much teams want to qualify for the Europa League. In the ‘battle’ for the top six, Spurs have won once in six, while Southampton’s only point in the last four games came against the Londoners!
While motivation seems to be in short supply for the Saints, Aston Villa still have plenty to play for. Tim Sherwood has proven many people wrong so far and after four wins in five across all competitions, one more will guarantee their future in the top flight.
