Unsworth A Punt

Everton's last 3 games have produced 15 goals and I don't think David Unsworth will start playing for 0-0 at this stage.

When i read that Everton have now conceded at least 2 goals in their last 8 matches across all competitions I had to check it a couple of times because it seemed so unbelievable. But sure enough, that abysmal sequence is true.

The bookies expect a calmer afternoon at St Mary’s but I’m not sure David Unsworth knows how to deliver that. Backing over 3.5 goals in the match at a best price of 18/5 with Betfair looks like great value.

This would have been a winning bet in the last three Toffees’ games, indeed there were 15 goals in total.

The good news for Everton is they score more goals than Southampton which is why I can’t justify backing the hosts at such a lean price as odds-on here.
