United Performances Dropping Off

Solskjaer has the job but the last three games have seen two defeats - including one to Wolves - and an unconvincing victory against Watford.

Despite the suspicion that Wolves will rotate their squad with an FA Cup semi-final on the horizon, Nuno Espirito Santo has said he will go ‘full strength’ and I’m therefore happy to back the hosts to win at best odds of 33/10 with BetVictor.

The midlanders got to Wembley off the back of beating Man Utd in the quarter-finals but let’s not forget they also had the better off a 1-1 clash with the Red Devils at Old Trafford earlier in the season.

United won Solskjaer’s first permanent match in charge at home to Watford but it was about as unconvincing as it is possible to be with the Hornets dominating by 20 shots to 8.

I’m a big believer than learnings from poor performances are harder to take when you still get a good result. Perhaps United will get a real wake-up call on Tuesday.
