United Deliver At Last

Marcus Rashford scored a late 2nd half hat-trick in the Champions League as his star continues to rise. Arsenal are crying out for goals but are showing the ability to scrap at least.

After the Red Devils’ electrifying 5-0 victory over Leipzig in midweek they are hot favourites here, but don’t expect a scoreline anything like that. It may be attritional at times and we’re backing ‘Half-Time: Draw - Full-Time: Man Utd at best odds of 9/2 with Bet365. That’s a big price when the hosts are evens money to take the three points.

There are a few factors influencing why it may take a good while to get the better of the Gunners. Firstly, we can’t ignore the fact that Ole’s boys are yet to win a home Premier League game this season. They have struggled to get their balance right and there could be a psychological hurdle to overcome.

Secondly, the number of goals Utd have conceded remains a concern - 12 in 5 league outings. If Aubameyang finally brings his shooting boots then that number can rise.

The problem for Arteta is that his main man has been out of sorts. Tactically, the Spaniard may be happy to dig in and hope his world class strikers wake up once they have a foothold. More likely, United have more attacking talent coming to life, and can get the job done second half.
