Top Goalscorer Each-Way Tip
The leading striker prize in the top flight is still up for grabs with nobody running away with it. The likes of Salah, Kane and Fernandes could be rotated with Europe in mind whereas our pick should keep playing every match.
With a third of the season remaining, there remains a good scrap in the Premier League Golden Boot market. Mo Salah is out in front on 17 goals (5/6) but two goals separate the next five players. Having missed out backing the very unfortunate Raul Jimenez, there’s still time to make money in this market.
Many bookies are still paying out on a top three finish in the Top Goalscorer betting, if you go each-way, and they reckon Kane (5/1) and Fernandes (8/1) will probably chase Salah all the way.
But what of Patrick Bamford on 13 goals, at 25/1 with WilliamHill? The way Leeds play, he isn’t short of chances, indeed his 69 attempts so far ranks 1st in the entire Premier League.
An outside hope for the England Euros squad, the 27-year-old is having the season of his life and he still has potential built in to his big price. His goal conversion rate of 19% is the lowest of all the leading strikers, but his stats are very similar to Kane’s so there’s nothing shabby about them.
Back Bamford each-way with WilliamHill and have an outsider chance of topping the market, but a really decent chance of getting paid out at 1/5th odds for a top-3 finish.
