Martial and Pogba can return for Man Utd in this crucial clash in the battle to return to the Champions League next season. Both teams will fancy their chances despite very different weeks.
To some extent we can forget the contrasting European fortunes of these sides in midweek. Certainly I don’t think Arsenal’s defeat with some key players rested reflects their current level. Similarly United aren’t suddenly invincible, and their heroics in Paris and that big injury list may catch up with them sometime.
You can argue the case either way here. Arsenal are pretty formidable at home in the Premier League, and on a 14-match unbeaten run (W12 D2). However, the Red Devils are flying on the road especially and have won their last two trips to the Emirates in all competitions.
So what gives? Well luckily the odds make our minds up for us here. The longest price option is the draw, 13/5 with Bet365, and that must be the most likely on balance, not the least.
