Toffees Can Leave Pochettino With Plenty To Chew Over

Everton are unbeaten in 8 while Spurs have lost 4 of their last 5 league games at White Hart Lane.

It’s hard to imagine a much worse fixture than this for Mauricio Pochettino when he is desperate for a home win in the league.

An easier game and Spurs could expect three points, a fixture against Chelsea or Man City and the fans would embrace the role of underdogs. Instead, they face a tough Everton side in good form, but the expectation levels remain high.

Tottenham keep winning unconvincingly on the road, against 10 men, and at home in the Europa League and the Capital One Cup. But nobody at the Lane is really being fooled; home league defeats to Liverpool, West Brom, Newcastle and Stoke were all merited.

The Merseysiders arrive here off the back of a tremendous 2-0 success in Wolfsburg, currently the second best team in Germany. That result made it eight unbeaten for Roberto Martinez’s slick outfit and I like the look of them taking this one 2-1 at 10/1 with Skybet.
