Title Race Twist?

Forget their away form, Bournemouth are 5 matches unbeaten on their own ground and could have Callum Wilson and David Brooks available for the visit of the champions who have eeked their way through the last two games.

However brilliant Manchester City may be, the odds are manic here, with Bournemouth never legitimate 14/1 shots to win any home match, but that’s what Betfred are offering us.

I haven’t forgotten that the Cherries were blown away 5-1 at Arsenal in midweek, but they are proven as a different beast on their own patch. Bournemouth have bounced back immediately from away defeats to win at home no fewer than 5 times already this season.

Other stats to make a mockery of the odds: Howe’s boys have taken just 1 point fewer at home (25) than City have on the road. They’ve actually scored more goals at home (26) than the champions have away (25), albeit from a game more.

Bournemouth have a comparable home record (W7 D4 L3) to Spurs and Man Utd and you can’t tell me either of those sides would even be half this price hosting City.
