Time To Face The Music For Wenger Boys

Arsenal were battered by Chelsea, and only three days on, the Swans may not be the ideal visitors that the odds suggest.

I preached on the virtues of Wilfried Bony ahead of his trip to Goodison Park on Saturday, and the case has only grown stronger as he now heads to the Emirates.

The Ivorian was 3/1 to score anytime against Everton, which he did, and we can pick him up at 4/1 (Betfred) to find the net against Arsenal, who shipped six at the weekend. Arsene Wenger has closed ranks after the humiliation against Chelsea, but there will be no hiding place on Tuesday night.

Since the turn of the year, Bony has fired against Man City (2), Man Utd, Spurs, Liverpool and Everton, yet his price is holding firm. This can be attributed to the poor form of Swansea as a whole, but that’s a mistake where the odds-makers are concerned.

The £12m record signing had five more shots against the Toffees which shows that the goals which keep coming are no fluke.
