The Saturday Acca

There's not many times when we include Blackpool in an acca but they are a huge price to beat a side who they have been better than for 3 months.

Today’s football treble comes in at a best price of 23/1 with Bet365.

Stoke (21/20) to win at home to Hull:

Hull City have turned things around lately with seven points from three games but we shouldn’t forget how hard they still find it to win away matches, something they’ve only done once since the opening day of the season. The biggest issue is they have fewer shots on target on the road than anyone else; 2.6 attempts per game makes Villa look prolific!

Stoke are a good price to win here considering they are a level above their opponents and with home advantage.

Blackpool (31/10) to win at home to Wigan:

The poor old Tangerines were seemingly doomed from the start of 2014-15 when in the lead-up they only had 8 players and no goalkeeper. In the circumstances it will be a major achievement if they don’t finish bottom of the table and they can draw level on points with the Latics if they triumph here.

Whereas Blackpool feared the worst, it’s been a disaster on a scale nobody foresaw at Wigan. The 2013 FA Cup winners are now 9 points from safety themselves and destined for League One as well. Since the start of December they are the worst side in the division so the odds are all wrong here.

Wolves (15/8) to win away to Cardiff:

Make no mistake, Wolves are flying again and very much looking to gatecrash the play-off party. Kenny Jackett’s boys have won their last 2 matches 3-0 and 5-0 and are now just 5 points off the crucial 6th spot.

Cardiff have nothing to play for now that they are confined to mid-table mediocrity after one win in eight matches. They’re now consolidating ahead of next season and that’s a hard thing for fans and players to get excited about.  The away win is therefore on the cards here.
