16th Dec 2017 | Premier League

The Day Poch Proves A Point?

Spurs are actually unbeaten in 4 league games against City and can beat anybody on their day. Just ask Real Madrid. Kane and Son can get at the leaders' defence with Kompany and Stones missing.

It’s hard to make an irresistible case against Man City after 15 straight wins but Tottenham are too big a price here given their qualities.

Their recent away form hasn’t been good - 0 wins in 4 - but before that they were the best visiting team in the Premier League for the entirety of 2017. Narrow losses at Man Utd, Arsenal and Leicester and a draw at Watford doesn’t eradicate all that.

Harry Kane has still found the net 7 times in 7 away games in the top flight this season so that’s a pretty good starting point.

City might just take their eye slightly off the ball after winning the derby and being conceded the title by all and sundry. One of these days the absence of Stones and Kompany in central defence will surely cost them.

It’s almost impossible to imagine City going goalless but a best price of 17/2 with Betfair on Spurs winning with both teams to score tempts me in.
