The Senegal international has struck 11 times in 926 top flight minutes which works out as a goal every 84 minutes. Not too shabby at all for a striker priced up at 31/10 to score anytime at home on Wednesday night.
The Newcastle striker caused a bit of a sensation when he arrived at the club for the latter part of 2011-12 when he found the net 13 times in 14 outings. This term his performances are virtually as impressive but without the same headlines.
Against a fitful Manchester United side who have still only won three away league games all campaign, Cisse looks like a bargain bet.
