Swans Cause A Flap On The Road
Swansea seem to have a perfect game plan to frustrate superior opponents. It may not quite get a result today but it could come close.
Arsenal are fancied around the 2/9 mark to beat Swansea on Saturday but we can improve our odds all the way to 7/2 with Betfair by backing the Gunners, but only after a half-time draw.
This is a worthy testament to the Welsh side who stayed unbeaten through their first three away league games this season without conceding a goal. That run ended at the London Stadium, where they lost 1-0, but only after a 90th minute winner.
So effectively the Swans kept Southampton, Palace, Spurs and West Ham at bay at their own grounds for around 360 minutes. We only need them to manage 45 minutes at the Emirates.
Paul Clements’ tactics tend to keep his side in matches. Unfortunately for him, 6 of the 10 league goals they have conceded have come in the last 15 minutes of play.
