Spurs Unlikely To Stop Hammers' Time

West Ham are on great form (W6 D1 L1) and have Antonio back to cause havoc up front. With Lingard slotting in, the east enders are a real threat against vulnerable opponents. That would be Spurs.

The bookies make Tottenham favourites (7/5) for this London derby and quite simply, that can’t be right.

Whereas Mourinho’s men have lost four of their last five in the league, West Ham are having their best season since the mid-80s, and should be backed at best odds of 21/10 with PaddyPower - if you don’t choose their ‘2up’ payout offer. I just can’t see this Spurs team coming back from 2-0 down.

David Moyes is showing what a fine manager he is after a few years of having his reputation ripped to threads. He managed Everton with distinction for over a decade and did a good job in his first stint at Upton Park.

Arguably the West Ham owners don’t deserve him, but a genuine top-four bid could be on for a while yet.
