Spurs Hoodoo To Continue
Based on results this season,Tottenham always score on their travels but Chelsea always score at least two.
A few Spurs fans may be daring to dream of picking up a result against the league leaders on Wednesday after a hard-fought win over Everton followed Chelsea slipping up at Sunderland.
But Tottenham have a dismal record at Stamford Bridge having never won there in the Premier League era (D8 L14) and the gap between the two sides looks larger than it has for a while. But Pochettino can, at least, have reasonable expectations of his side scoring. The Lilywhites have netted in all their away league matches in 2014-15 and averaged more shots on target per game on the road (5.7) than any other side bar Man City.
The problem they face is that Mourinho’s men have scored at least twice in all their home matches, and remain unbeaten everywhere. The Blues have won 28 of their last 34 league games at the Bridge. Furthermore, with Diego Costa suspended, Didier Drogba may just which pick up where we left off against a side whom he enjoyed plenty of success against.
Chelsea are 9/20 (BetVictor) to win but we have improve our options by taking them to triumph with both teams to score at best odds of 11/5 with William Hill.
