Snodgrass Is Always Greener On The Other Side

The Norwich midfielder has scored the first goal in two of his last three fixtures.

We had success picking Robert Snodgrass to break the deadlock against Cardiff at the start of February and we have the odds to go in again with the same player at Villa Park. The 26-year-old is 12/1 to score first with Bet365.

The former Leeds favourite fired the only goal in a vital 1-0 victory for Norwich against Spurs last time out and nobody should be surprised that the goals have started to come for this attack minded midfielder.

Snodgrass has had 47 attempts so far this season at an average of 2.5 shots per game. To put that in some perspective that’s more shots per game than Christian Benteke averages (2.3), and he’s the favourite in the first goalscorer market.

With Villa not having scored in any of their last three outings, and better away than at home, it makes sense to side with an in-form Canary here. By going each-way we get 1/3rd odds even if Snodgrass scores anytime.
