This isn't the fixture Watford needed right now but the one thing they always look like doing is scoring.

This fixture could have been a real test for the runaway leaders had it come a couple of months ago but Watford have had their confidence badly dented after 5 defeats in their last 6. Saturday’s late collapse at home to Swansea was the worst result of the lot.

City had their equivalent of a setback in drawing 0-0 at Selhurst Park but Ederson’s injury-time penalty save kept the unbeaten run going and morale ultimately sky-high.

From a betting perspective we can quickly turn 2/11 on the home win into a far more palatable 6/4 on City winning with both teams to score with Betfred.

The Hornets have found the net in 8 of their 10 away league matches so far and have troubled all the big sides bar City already. With Guardiola faced with the walking wounded, the visitors can score at the Etihad.
