Saturday Football Acca

If these 3 sides win on Saturday afternoon then there is a high likelihood they will all be playing Premier League football next season.

It’s crunch time everywhere you look and we’re backing Swansea, Palace and Cardiff to all get crucial victories in their respective fights to be in the Premier League next season at best odds of 11.99/1 with BetVictor.

Swansea v Everton:

The Swans have cooled off a little after their remarkable run but actually that’s more to do with the fixture list than a marked decline in performance. Losses to Man Utd and Spurs (in the FA Cup) are understandable while away draws are never bad, even at Huddersfield and WBA. Back at home in the league for the first time since a 4-1 win over West Ham, they can score a massive 3 points against an Everton side who rank 16th away from Goodison (W2 D5 L9).

Crystal Palace v Brighton:

The unusual, but fiercely contested, ‘M23 derby’ is a huge one for both sides. Palace can move within a point of their bitter rivals with a victory and I think they can get it. The Eagles held a lead in 4 of their last 5 games, surrendering them against Man Utd, Liverpool and Bournemouth, only holding out against Huddersfield. But the return of most of their best players from injury can make a difference here. The Seagulls have recently faltered having taken 1 point from consecutive home games with Leicester and Huddersfield.

Norwich v Cardiff:

A huge game in the Championship where Cardiff can reclaim the 2nd automatic promotion spot ahead of Fulham playing this evening. Back-to-back defeats have hurt the Bluebirds but Wolves and Villa were always going to be tough and 1-0 results were settled by fine margins. Not long before that Warnock’s side won 8 on the bounce and he has the motivational skills to remind his team that they are still in the box seat in the battle with Fulham, while Norwich have nothing to play for.
