We’re backing Jamie Vardy to continue his prolific goalscoring form against Liverpool, plus Teemu Pukki and Borja Baston to strike at combined odds of 13.34/1 with PaddyPower.
Vardy to score v Liverpool (15/8):
Starting with the outsider, it always looks brave to back away goalscorers at Anfield but the former England striker has found the net 7 times against the Reds already. He also has 14 goals in 17 league outings since Brendan Rodgers rocked up in Leicester. It could be the game of the weekend and the Foxes could be the first to take points off the European champions.
Pukki to score v Aston Villa (11/10):
Norwich have more than their share of injuries and concede too many goals, but one man offers hope of further miracles. Teemu Pukki could score in a 4th consecutive home Premier League match. The Canaries can take further encouragement from Villa’s dreadful away record and a propensity to squander leads.
Borja to score v Stoke (11/8):
There isn’t a lot of patience in football so it’s nice to see a slow-burner success story taking place at Swansea City. Their Spanish striker Borja had been loaned out after failing to make an impact in the top flight but he is suddenly prolific in the Championship; his 6 league goals have helped fire the Swans to the top of the table. Stoke have been staggeringly accommodating opponents as a rule having lost 8 times out of 10.
