Saturday Accumulator

We're backing 3 sides to win who are a combined 31 points better than their opponents in their respective league tables.

I’m backing Hull, QPR and Wigan to bring home the bacon this week at best combined odds of 15/1 with Bet365.

Hull (5/4) to win at home to WBA:

The Tigers have a tidy little arrangement where they only play at home these days - this will be their fifth consecutive outing at the KC Stadium. Perhaps unlucky against Man City last time out, they will want to return to the FA Cup form which saw them beat Sunderland 3-0 here a fortnight ago. WBA ripped up the form book by beating Swansea 2-1 last weekend but it bore all the hallmarks of a one-off. That made it one win in 10.

Wigan (21/20) to win at home to Watford:

The Latics are going great guns having reached the last four of the FA Cup while maintaining a promotion charge. Yeovil’s 90th minute equaliser on Tuesday denied Rosler’s boys a ninth straight victory in all competitions, but that setback should just re-focus their minds. Watford are having a disappointing campaign and that’s little wonder when they haven’t won away since October.

QPR (13/5) to win away to Middlesbrough:

The long shot that really gives us our value, but it’s a big price when you consider that the Hoops are 18 points better than their hosts in the league table. Harry Redknapp is enduring a tough spell at Loftus Road but this could be the fixture that turns it all around; a late dart at automatic promotion isn’t out of the question. Boro have won only one of their last 10 and their season is sliding towards irrelevance.
