Saints Still Eyeing Top Five

City's rather disappointing fate is sealed but the Saints are flying again after a 6-1 success gave them hope of leapfrogging Liverpool and Spurs on the final day.

With Manchester City now assured of what feels like an unsatisfactory and distant second place, the outgoing champions have little to play for or to inspire them on Sunday’s finale.

The same is not the case for Southampton who sprung back into dazzling form with an emphatic 6-1 victory over Aston Villa last weekend. Sadio Mane scored the fastest ever Premier League hat-trick and with Graziano Pelle also among the goals, the Saints can take real hope to the Etihad.

Ronald Koeman’s boys know that a surprise victory could actually give them a very real chance of finishing in the top five. Spurs and Liverpool face tough trips to Everton and Stoke respectively so there could be one final twist in this part of the table at least.

The visitors are good value to win against lacklustre hosts at best odds of 5/1 with Bet365.
