Premier League Draw Double
Tuchel has had a dream start at Stamford Bridge but also a dream run of fixtures. Finally a test facing a team above them in the table who look well placed to complete a Manchester 1-2 finish.
It never sounds too exciting, but correctly predicting two draws in the Premier League will always make you surprisingly good money. If the spoils are shared at Selhurst Park and Stamford Bridge on Sunday, then Bet365 will pay out at 9.72/1.
Crystal Palace v Fulham:
The interesting thing about the odds here is that all the bookies make Fulham quite heavy favourites. That’s a team in the bottom three, over a side sat 10pts higher at kick-off. I can see where they are coming from, with the Cottagers playing so well of late, but the most likely outcome is probably a draw. Scott Parker’s boys are only languishing because of so many of those - 9 in their last 14 in the league.
Chelsea v Man Utd:
It finished 0-0 in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford and everyone is hoping for a little more entertainment this time around. Thomas Tuchel has transformed Chelsea’s season and the Blues line up accordingly as clear favourites. But this feels a bit dismissive of what Manchester United have been pretty well all season - namely tough to beat. The Red Devils have lost just 1 of their last 19 league games. Yes, they have been eclipsed by their neighbours, but who hasn’t?
