Pre-Van Dijk - The Entertainers
Liverpool can't call on their record-breaking defender just yet. 40% of their league games have produced 5+ goals so far.
Liverpool are in rude health as an attacking unit and we can back them to win on Saturday with over 4.5 goals in the match at a best price of 11/4 with BetFair.
That would have been a winning bet for us in the reverse fixture back in September when the Reds overcame their hosts by a 3-2 scoreline.
In some regards not much has changed except for the arrival of Claude Peul in the Foxes’ dugout. Leicester have most definitely improved, until the busy Christmas period caught up with them, and they are always likely to find the net. They have scored in their last 6 away league outings.
The problem they have is that Liverpool have smashed in 75 goals in all competitions. That figure would be getting a lot more attention if it wasn’t for Man City’s historic form.
The last 3 Reds’ fixtures have produced 15 goals so we’re only backing those sort of numbers to continue here when two sides who attack better than they defend meet.
