Potters Bar Blues

Stoke will fancy their chances against the crisis-hit champions but they have the bluntest attack in the top flight themselves.

It’s tempting just to latch onto the 3/1 on offer for Stoke to beat Chelsea but that would be to ignore one side of the argument.

Yes Chelsea are facing the real danger of losing three consecutive league games for the first time this century. But the Potters have their own issues - namely a chronic lack of goals.

Mark Hughes will be very unhappy that his boys have only found the net nine times in 11 league outings - a divisional low - and they are at times over-reliant on Jack Butland down the other end.

However the good news for ‘Sparky’ is that the England goalkeeper appears equal to the challenge and after his man of the match display last week, I’m backing ‘no goalscorer’ at best odds of 10/1 with Coral.

None of the Blues’ players have managed more than two league goals so far in 2015-16 and Mourinho may have to settle for a point at the Britannia as the champions try to build some foundations to work from.
