Pick A Winner? Farke Knows Howe

The Canaries have won once in the league since September. The Cherries just twice. No surprise to find them 19th & 20th in the table really.

Two teams in similar degrees of bleakness, this is a chance to establish who really is staring into the abyss! You get the feeling that Norwich expected an almighty struggle and are just getting on with it, whereas it’s almost unsettling to see Eddie Howe under pressure after such a prolonged period of success.

If we take the position that it’s hard to back either of the division’s bottom two teams, who are both on dreadful form, then a stalemate starts to appeal. Even better for value, you can back ‘Half-time: Norwich - Full-time: Draw’ at best odds of 16/1 with BetVictor.

The rationale here is straightforward. The Canaries are winless in nine league matches despite scoring first in six of them. The bookies make them favourites to strike first here so that could get us halfway to success.

If that happens we’d then be reliant on a combination of Howe’s men finally showing some fight under pressure (possible), or Norwich getting another attack of crippling self-doubt. Sadly for Daniel Farke, the latter isn’t hard to imagine.
