Parker Life

Fulham have won a couple of games in a row but they played 2 teams who probably underestimated them and had less to fight for than Cardiff City do on Saturday.

As a lover of niche stats, it was interesting to see that Cardiff remain unbeaten this season against the other clubs in the bottom five (W5 D2). Nothing to shout about by most standards, but critical to why the Bluebirds still have a fighting chance of survival.

I’m backing Warnock’s warriors to draw level on points with Brighton, at least for a few hours, with a win and both teams to score - a 4/1 shot with Ladbrokes.

It was certainly a lively affair when the sides met in Wales back in October, with the hosts running out 4-2 victors. For a team who struggle for firepower generally, Cardiff have a happy knack of scoring 2+ goals when they do win.

Fulham have improved now that they are mathematically relegated, so I think they will find the net here, but Scott Parker hasn’t suddenly sorted out the division’s leakiest defence.

1pt Cardiff to win & BTTS 4/1 with Ladbrokes
