One Hull Of An Opportunity

Hull were unfortunate to only take a draw from the Emirates last week while Liverpool's recent top flight luck is due to run out.

The margins in the Premier League are so small that had all the matches in the top flight ended at the 90th minute last weekend, Hull would now be above Liverpool and not 3 points behind in the table. The Tigers led Arsenal into stoppage time at the Emirates while the Reds relied on 2 injury-time goals to finally see off QPR.

The truth of the matter is that Liverpool can’t justify favouritism of 2/5 (WilliamHill), not least because they have only kept one clean sheet in 18 outings. When you factor in Brendan Rodgers’ problems with Mario Balotelli, the hosts have to be opposed here.

Hull have scored in every Premier League game this season and mustered 2 goals against not only Arsenal but also Man City, Newcastle, West Ham and Palace. If they have a better day at the back then they can take the three points from Anfield which Steve Bruce feels they were owed from the Emirates.

The visitors are a best price 7/1 (BetVictor) in the ‘draw no bet’ market which means we get out money back if the spoils are shared.
