Next Manager To Leave PL Post Tip: Craig Shakespeare

Everton will surely be reluctant to ditch a highly rated manager like Koeman while results are improving for Bilic. Shakespeare could be the man facing the most immediate pressure at a much bigger price.

The ‘Next Premier League Manager to leave their post’ market is hotting up with several bosses shifting uncomfortably in their permanently hot seats.

The bookies have Ronald Koeman as their current favourite at just 4/9 to face the chop but I suspect this is hasty. This was a man being linked with the Barcelona job just a few months ago and Everton will surely want to give him longer to turn things around after a decent campaign last time out.

Slaven Bilic (7/2) has been under pressure from the outset this season but why would the Hammers chop him now after a run of one defeat in five which has seen them climb towards respectability?

Instead I advise piling into Craig Shakespeare at a very generous 10/1 with BetVictor, which could vanish if Leicester have a bad Monday night. That is not out of the question given that West Brom have a wonderful recent record there (W6 D2 L0).

Crucially, the Leicester board showed pretty recently that they can and will be ruthless. If they were willing to get rid of title-winning Ranieri after a bad run then what hope Craig Shakespeare?!

The Foxes are in the bottom three after Swansea’s win on Saturday and nobody will care about the tough fixture list to start the season if things don’t improve rapidly.
