Newcastle Can Shock Exhausted Arsenal
Arsenal have been out-shot in four of their last five away games and they expended large amounts of energy midweek.
Many will have Arsenal as a banker this weekend. They have won eight of their last ten matches in the Premier League and a mid-week win in Monaco will have hardened support.
The wily bookmakers have priced the match against Newcastle accordingly and all the value resides with the home team.
Maximum faith should never be employed where Newcastle are concerned but they’ve been ok at home. Liverpool and Chelsea both lost at St James’s Park and serve as timely reminders.
Despite enjoying a strong run of results Arsenal haven’t been totally convincing away from home. The Gunners have actually been out-shot in four of their last five away games and although this might have something to do with game-states, they also ring alarm bells.
Crystal Palace were desperately unlucky not to get at least a point against Arsenal at the end of February.
Arsene Wenger’s team expended large amounts of energy in an ultimately futile effort in Monaco and a Newcastle win is overpriced at 11/2 (William Hill).
