Monday Night Is Hammer Time
The signs are that West Ham are finally due a really good campaign. The top-6 isn't completely out of the question if they can win fixtures such as this one.
The bookies can barely pick between these sides, at least when Aston Villa have home advantage, but I think there will be a sizeable points discrepancy come the end of the season.
West Ham can extend their advantage to 7 points after 5 matches by winning; back Sebastien Haller to score in the process at best odds of 3/1 with PaddyPower.
For all the headlines about being robbed against Palace before the international break, Villa played poorly in that fixture. Having also lost at home to Bournemouth, there is plenty to prove yet in terms of whether they are back for good.
The Hammers are unbeaten in 4 on the road (W3 D1) including last season and they should challenge the European places come May. Haller has made a great start and could finally be the answer to the Londoners’ striker troubles.
