Liverpool’s Luck About To Change

Liverpool’s Luck About To Change

Liverpool are out-shooting their opponents by 4.1 shots per game whilst Everton are being outgunned by 2.7 shots per game.

Brendan Rodgers has been feeling the heat of late but if the Liverpool hierarchy stick with him, results should improve. This isn’t because Rodgers is a good manager (that is for others to argue) but Liverpool’s results don’t match their total shot ratio – they’ve simply been unlucky.

So far this season Liverpool have out-shot their opponents by on average 4.1 attempts per game. On the flip side Everton have been out-shot by 2.7 per game, yet have one point more than Liverpool!

Over the course of the season I expect Everton luck to run out and Liverpool to improve.

Statistically Liverpool are the better team and although their fortunes might not change in the Merseyside derby, they will soon, and at a best price of 9/5 with Skybet, they are the better option.
