They are great to watch, but the Yorkshire team are struggling to defend to the standards required at this level in 2021-22.
The general consensus is that Leeds are just waiting to kick into gear, while Watford are destined for the bottom three despite a promising start.
I find it hard to disagree with either long term assessment, but the data suggests the Elland Road boys are down in 18th on merit, and could even be lower - their xPts puts them 19th according to Understat’s numbers.
The biggest problem is they always look like conceding (and always have so far), and Ismaila Sarr must be worth a look at 3/1 to score anytime on Saturday with Bet365.
The Hornets’ main man has 4 goals already in the top flight and 8 in his last 11 for his club. We don’t yet know the Senegalese winger’s upper limits, but this is an ideal fixture to take some value.
