Ings Keep Going Wrong For Emery

Danny Ings bagged a brace when Southampton beat the Gunners 3-2 in Hassenhuttl's first home match last December. Nobody expects a repeat but Arsenal are as shaky as ever.

Southampton are in a bad way but Arsenal can’t justify being so heavily odds-on after four winless matches and their general inability to hold onto leads.

It also feels too soon to right off Hassenhuttl after he turned fortunes round at the Saints last season and his hopes of doing similar this term rest to some extent on Danny Ings.

The former Liverpool striker is quietly having a decent personal campaign and best odds of 9/1 with Bet365 on him scoring first here are competitive. Go each-way and get paid out at 1/3rd odds if he finds the net later in the match instead.

There must be a reasonable chance of the latter at least after Ings’s 6 goals in his last 8 appearances across all competitions.
