Brighton have turned the Amex Stadium into something of a fortress from their promotion season onwards. Only Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Leicester won there last season.
Nuno Espirito Santo set a Premier League record by naming the same starting XL for the first 9 matches of the season but his preferred picks looked a little jaded against Watford last time out.
It remains to be seen if he will mix things up on the south coast but regardless it’s baffling to see Brighton as long as 13/5 to win with BetFair.
The Seagulls have won two on the bounce and have been a force to be reckoned with on their own patch for years. In 2017-18 they ranked 8th for home record in the top flight, only losing 4 times at the Amex.
They’ve continued that pattern in the early stages of this season and don’t deserve to be significant underdogs at kick-off here.
