Hornets To Be Swatted Away
Harry Kane could be back for Tottenham but with or without him they are flying after 12 wins in their last 15.
Spurs are going to be on such a high after their late show against Swansea in midweek that I expect a comfortable home win here.
By playing first this weekend, they also have the added incentive of potentially closing the gap on Chelsea to four points - at least for a few hours.
Back the Lilywhites in the handicap market -2 goals at a best price of 15/8 with Paddy Power. That means we need Tottenham to win by 3 goals or more, and I think they can.
The doubters will point out that Watford have won back-to-back games themselves. True, but this is an inconsistent side who have followed good performances with bad a few times this season.
The Hornets beat Man Utd only to lose to Burnley next time out. At another point they followed a run of seven points from three games by getting hammered 6-1 at Anfield.
Walter Mazzarri has a long injury list and a few fit ones who are exhausted. He should expect a long afternoon in the White Hart Lane sun.
