Home Rule At King Power

Leicester’s performances at home have held up despite results turning against them.

Bottom of the league and without a win in their last 8 games, Leicester are struggling. Punters have deserted them and as a result they are 3/1 (Bet365) to win at home against Liverpool.

Having started the season strongly, it seems the rot has set in but they’ve not had the rub of the green.

Leicester drew against Everton and Arsenal before their stunning victory against Man Utd but those results gave a false impression. Nigel Pearson’s men were out-gunned by 18 shots in those games but somehow managed to bank five points.

However, results have turned as they’ve only gathered two points in their last three home games, despite out-shooting their opposition by 13 shots. Perhaps expectation weighed heavily against the lesser lights of Burnley, West Brom and Sunderland.

Confidence amongst the Foxes might be at a low ebb but there were signs of life in a crazy game at Loftus Road on Saturday.

A home game against Liverpool is a tie to savour and it is not like the Reds are pulling up many trees having lost four times already on their travels.

It pays to look beyond the results because a Leicester win is overpriced at 3/1 (Bet365).
