Gunners Remain Vincible
Leeds had 25 shots when theses sides drew 0-0 in November. Goals look pretty certain this time around.
After 229 Premier League matches so far this season, 40% have ended as away wins compared to just 37% in favour of the hosts. While I don’t think there’s enough evidence to suggest that it’s somehow better to be the visitors, I think we can say, with some degree of confidence, that ‘home advantage’ has disappeared in the Covid era.
Yet Arsenal go into this clash at the Emirates as odds-on favourites. They surely wouldn’t be if the match was taking place at Elland Road. No matter, Leeds are above the Gunners in the league table and look a great shout at best odds of 10/3 with Bet365.
Bielsa’s boys have won three of their last four on the road, scoring 10 times in the process. These two teams aren’t the most consistent, so it could be seen as a coin flip, but with odds skewed very much in favour of a traditional ‘Big 6’ side, who just happen to be at home.
