First PL Manager To Leave Post Tip: Sean Dyche

The board are making Dyche's job almost impossible by selling off the talent there was at Turf Moor and not replacing it adequately.

The first PL manager to leave their post market is always tough to predict but I can’t help thinking Sean Dyche represents great value a 16/1 with BetVictor.

Burnley look in real trouble. The sale of Andre Gray last week looking like the final straw after the departures of Michael Keane, George Boyd and Joey Barton - all significant first team players.

The reality is that the Clarets would most likely be looking at a relegation battle even with those top performers. The first half of last term saw a freakish run of home victories without which they would have been firmly entrenched in the bottom three. A repeat could not look less likely.

We get a tasty price in this market because Dyche is popular at Turf Moor and well-established. True, but don’t be surprised if he ends up walking away in frustration given his lack of financial backing.

The board, for their part, may not ultimately fight all that hard to keep him if results go badly. Indeed the potential for some embarrassment could be high with an early season fixture list which begins with consecutive away games at Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool, Everton and Man City!
