Emery Not Ready For The Toon Army

Newcastle won at home to Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea at the back-end of last season. They've started slowly this campaign but this is a great opportunity to claim another scalp.

The upset of the day could come in the north-east where Newcastle Utd are generously priced at best odds of 10/3 with Bet365 to emerge triumphant.

The Magpies face an Arsenal team whose recent away record remains desperate for a side still regarded amongst the elite (W2 L8). Those two victories came against Huddersfield, when their hosts were safe in Wenger’s last game and at Cardiff, 3-2, last time out.

Defeats in that sequence included trips to Swansea, Brighton and indeed Newcastle - 2-1 in April.

The fact that Emery has taken over has altered little defensively as of yet. The Gunners have conceded 8 goals in their 4 league matches so far.

Benitez knows how to set-up against the big teams to make things competitive and with Shelvey and Ritchie possibly both fit, the Toon Army will surely see some good moments at the very least.
