Eagles Revival Can Continue
Palace have lost just 2 of their last 14 league games, both to Arsenal. The Toon Army are only moderately satisfied with the January loan signings brought in amidst ongoing takeover talk.
Sunday sees another crucial clash in the battle for Premier League survival - there are about four a weekend these days given the number of sides in peril.
Crystal Palace have only lost to Arsenal at Selhurst Park since mid-September and merit their favouritism. However, if the best price evens money puts anyone off the Eagles, perhaps back the home win with both teams to score at a market leading 7/2 with Betfair.
Hodgson’s boys, for all their improvement, have still conceded in 83% of their home games. Indeed three of their four wins in the league on their own patch have come by a 2-1 scoreline with only Burnley denied a goal when defeated.
Newcastle tend to find the net on their travels anyway. They have done so in six of their last seven away league matches.
But if the league had begun after their last meeting in October, Palace would be 8th and the Toon Army 20th.
