Eagles Prey On Five In A Row

Alan Pardew will hope to steer his new side above Saturday's opponents Everton with another three points.

The managers keep changing, but Palace have become a real bogey team for Everton since returning to the top flight at the start of 2013-14. A draw has been followed by consecutive 3-2 victories for the Londoners at Goodison Park.

Now back at Selhurst Park, the form book generally favours the hosts as well. The Eagles have won all four matches under Alan Pardew while Everton are eight matches without victory in all competitions.

Given all this it’s surprising Palace are available at 19/10 (Boylesports) to take the spoils but we can even enhance our options by backing the home win but with both teams to score at 11/2 with Coral.

Four of Palace’s top flight triumphs this season have come with the other team scoring. They have managed just two clean sheets on their own patch, and none since September. Meanwhile the Toffees have only kept one clean sheet in 11 away league outings.

All things considered we should expect goals at both ends and the hosts may just shade it.
